Marlborough Wine Tours by Bike – A One Day Itinerary Full of Fun

Marlborough New Zealand is a wine lover’s paradise. The weather in Marlborough is perfect for wine: warm, dry, and beautiful. That also makes the area perfect for something else: winery tours. There are so many wineries in Marlborough it’ll make your head spin. The cellar doors, or tasting rooms, for all of the wineries in the area are also all located in a relatively small area, making it great for wine tasting tours. In our opinion, the best way to do a Marlborough wine tour is on a bike. When you bike, there are a ton of benefits that you get, which you don’t get while driving from winery to winery:

Milford Sound vs Doubtful Sound – Which Excursion To Do?

Milford Sound and Doubtful Sound are two of the best and most popular destination in all of New Zealand. Located in Fiordlands National Park, both of these sounds, which are technically fjords, host incredible cruise excursions that give you an up-close-and-personal view of New Zealand’s most beautiful bodies of water. The Milford Sound cruises to Mitre Peak, Bowen Falls, and Fairy Falls. Doubtful Sound cruises bring you on calm, reflective waters among numerous towering waterfalls. Both cruise locations give the opportunity to see seals, dolphins, and even whales. So which destination should you choose, Milford Sound or Doubtful Sound? As you might expect, the best way to see Fiordlands National Park is to see both! But if you have to choose one, we are going to help you decide which one is the best for you. Are you ready? Let’s go!

Doubtful Sound Cruise – The Best Fiordlands Excursion

The Doubtful Sound cruise is the very best Fiordlands National Park excursion. On this day trip, you’ll get a wide variety of experiences, starting with a cruise across Lake Manapouri during the sunrise. Once you cross the beautiful lake, you’ll board a coach bus that takes you on a scenic journey through the heart of Fiordlands National Park. Keep your eyes open looking for Keas and other famous New Zealand birds. Finally, you’ll reach Doubtful Sound, where you’ll board a cruise and enjoy the sights and sounds of New Zealand’s most beautiful waterway. Doubtful Sound is magical, full of waterfalls, wildlife, and stunning reflective waters that show off the huge cliffs that surround the sound. This adventure, which we took with Go Orange, will be the perfect Fiordlands excursion.

Quit Your Job and Travel The World – How We Did It

In 2018, we were living in downtown Chicago, in some ways living the American dream. We had recently graduated our Masters programs, had great jobs at places we enjoyed working, and had our own little nest in a downtown high-rise. However, something felt like it was missing. We didn’t have all of the freedom we craved. Each day we woke up was regimented. During each of the 5 weekdays, we woke up, walked to work, worked for 9 hours, walked home, cooked dinner, watched Netflix, and fell asleep. Each weekend offered a reprieve from this schedule, and typically involved gallivanting around Chicago trying to spend our way out of the feeling that we were stuck in a rut.
